Arrow Energy heard our need for help. Through the Brighter Futures 2025 Community Grant, Dalby Gun Club have been granted the funds to update all the trap house lids to be easy lifting, creating safer and easier access into the trap house, allowing everyone on shooting days to load the clay throwers reducing risk of physical harm.
Thank you Arrow Energy!
Creating an all weather access to the toilets and upgrading the ablution facilities to accommodate all ages, gender and disabilities.
Currently the overland flow of water and shape of the road into the gun club premise causes water to sit and pond on the access track.
This makes the trip to the toilet difficult even for most athletic people in our club and causes great distress for those unable to jump and leap.
Our layouts require improved access, relevelling and widening to allow all our participants of any ability or disability the rights to safe facilities.
The upgrade will include concreting the club house ramp landing pad, a path to two of the layouts and improvements to the layouts such as widening each shooting laneway and bypass and relevelling some of the laneways that started to slope.
A red flag at the premise is required when shooters are in attendance at the range. The current flag pole is a bracket to the fence and could be missed. The club would like to introduction three flag poles, to fly at the range flag with the Australian flags at the main entrance.
